2017 Precious Pearls Debutante Cotillion & Scholarship Program

Precious Pearls Overview

Thank you for expressing an interest in our Precious Pearls Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program.

As was true in years past, a young lady of today is still defined by her character and comportment, her discriminating taste and her upstanding qualities.

To address this ongoing need, Howard County’s Pearl Foundation, Inc., an affiliate of the Iota Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated created and sponsors the Precious Pearls Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program.

The Precious Pearls Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program is designed to increase the self-confidence and social skills of  young ladies as they enter adulthood, and expand their awareness of community service and civic engagement.  Committee members have an accelerated agenda of cultural and educational activities that will serve as the foundation for lifelong learnings and memories for our debutantes.

The culminating program, the 2017 Precious Pearls Cotillion, will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from  4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Turf Valley Resort, 2700 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, Maryland.  We hope you will be able to join us.
