2020 LEADERSHIP YOUTH SUMMIT community event focused on
building and expanding the minds of our youth in Howard County and the
surrounding areas

WHEN: Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 10 am to 2:30 p.m. (Registration begin at 9am a.m. along with breakfast)

WHERE: Oakland Mills High School, 9410 Kilimanjaro Rd Columbia, MD 21045.

Pearl Foundation 2020 Leadership Youth summit event is free and open to the public. Students from middle and high schools in Howard County and the surrounding areas will be involved in a variety of team building and interactive activities, including Acting, Alternative Sports professions, College Prep, Spoken Word, Boot Camp, Dance. There will also be didactic workshops for the students and their parents. Other offerings include Financial Literacy, Global Impact, HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), and informational booths.

The 2020 Community Youth Summit is made possible due to the outstanding
collaboration of several organizations vested in our youth such as: Pearl
Foundation, Inc., and Iota Lambda Omega, BSAP (Black Student Achievement Program), the Executive Director of Community, Parent, and School Outreach, and the Division of School Management & Instructional Leadership of Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. -Kappa Phi Lambda, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. – Columbia (MD) Alumni, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.-Tau Pi, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. – Zeta Alpha Sigma and Lambda Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. of University of Maryland Baltimore County.
